  1. If y'all are interested in 12 inch snippy headed untested terriers might I recommend the American market.
  2. Tis the season A few of my favorite Christmas songs
  3. I'm a backwoods redneck in Dixie. So my train of thought is considered out of date. What I want to know is out of all these children getting abused where is the fathers? Why ain't the fathers of these children burning ,hanging and scalping these cowards.Any man who had this happen to their child and did nothing should be shot and buried also.
  4. That's some nice testing ground ?. I wished I could get an excavator on my boat?99% of my digging is done alone in the middle of nowhere on an island. On the plus side my rockdigs are usually 2m or less.but it can all generally be shifted by hand without the aid of many tools. There is very little dirt involved. You jus need a strong back and a weak mind. Honestly I avoid areas like you just posted.Tip my hat to you Mr RF I do have friends and family who are just a phone call away. They are the people who really make what I do possible and none of them keep terriers but are always wil
  5. Impressive ? The first picture I posted was rocks dumped by barges along the rivers edge so they can dock empty barges there. The white rocks were delivered by barges and placed along rivers edge to prevent erosion.Sometimes going a mile or longer. They are not nearly as deep as what y'all work.
  6. I work alot of rock but it's rocks placed by man and are diggable.I have seen a few "good" digging terriers refuse to push through these rocks. Sometimes the rocks are rougher on the terrier than the quarry.
  7. When I was a kid the popular kids wore faded blue jeans with holes torn in the knees. My father couldn't afford these expensive jeans with holes so when he would buy me a pair I would go to the basketball gym and run and slide on my knees until the blue jeans wore into. Now my oldest daughter gets to buy the blue jeans with holes already in the knees now.Makes me proud even though I still complain about it ?
  8. We have had a cold snap here in Dixie so I stopped working for a week to just chase terriers.I was told this morning it was colder in Alabama than in Alaska.I am stuck at home with a heavy frost on but everything of age needs a good rest.So if I can't dig might as well talk about it. This little feller had a birthday last week. When his father asked him what he wanted for his eighth birthday. He said he wanted to lamp coons in the rocks with me.He had a good time. These rocks are movable. A 10-12 lb terrier is necessary to s
  9. The top photo is a young black mouth cur on left and a mediocre catchdog on the right. The second picture is pups sired by the buckskin in next to last picture. His name was cledus. He was a blackmouth cur who would catch a hog up to 150 lbs but would Bay if larger.Very good dog. In the picture with the black and white hog those were two good Bay dogs. The red one wearing a cutvest was named gator. He stopped some big hogs and bayed back when need be.I seen him Bay up some wild 250+ lb boars alone and live to tell about it ? By the way he was from the dog pound.Rumoured to have been bu
  10. Found some more hogdog pictures of mine that I haven't posted before but couldn't figure out where to post so I'm putting them here.
  11. I have semi wild foxes who live on my property.I generally leave them alone and they stay out of sight. This morning was first day of rifle deer season here so I stayed home as I didn't wanna get shot! Every time a rifle fires in the distance a fox screams and the terriers go nuts and I holler Shut up.So much for a peaceful morning at home.Wild animals are meant to be wild and I have had my share of them.In my opinion this includes house cats too lol.The look DC spoke of we call broken spirits in Dixie. As far as the respect is it different levels of respect for different animals? The quar
  12. The crossbred terrier has done better than the first season blacken I bred ? he was taking coons with little trouble so I advanced him to bigger quarry.I entered him in a Sandy set I haven't checked in a few years but it's a favorite spot of beaver.Within a minute I heard a hiss similar to a mad goose.I knew it was a beaver.Knowing this set and the fact that the terrier was green I assumed it would get away. After about 10 minutes I heard the beaver coming out of the hole. The terrier was on the beavers back. The beaver was bucking and farting like a mule. The terrier was holding on with al
