  1. We can write down a list of things you need if it helps, I’m sure people everybody will chip in with suggestions ld have a look at Celtic catty website to start with.
  2. Anybody checked out the band templates from Celtic cattys? 3mm sheet with several slots to your choice of taper £10......just ordered one
  3. If you YouTube black widow etc, Fowlers catapults ........a lot now put flat bands on this type of catapult. Personally I’d just buy a scout from simple shot ( available from proshot catapults) all you need, or get a Chinese copy for about £14.......scout lt is a very nice catty, just a bit smaller. 2x links below
  4. Gold.? Gzk, precise, theraband? whats your draw length? Have you tried making your own? Few bits n bats your away and it’s easy, quite fun and you can try all different types of band. For 10-16 quid you can get 2 meter roll......make loads.
  5. How’s tough Ian it to pull that sheshou 1mm back, as the 0.7mm black simple shot takes some muscle.
  6. Im loathed to pay more than a couple hundred of quid and seeing adverts like that does wind me up, but if people are willing to pay it they do right charging it, but I don’t agree with it.
  7. Sorry, not been on for a few days... The metal clips get a real good grip of the rubber, but I’m afraid I’ve never shot much over .7mm so can’t really comment, but I can say I should imagine they’re up to the job. I have both the plastic clips and metal clips and both do the job. Metal clips are more bulky but will last a life time. You can buy the clips from pro shop catapults, but they are a tenner plus p&p. I really like the scout lt, it’s very pocketable. I prefer to shoot it without the scales though which allows your fingers to clasp through the hole.....it’s a lovely catap
  8. That would have pissed me right off! Cheeky twats.
  9. You tried the Scout Lt? It’s nice, thinner and a bit smaller......metal band clips, removable handle swell which i prefer removed on the LT. Got mine set up with some green gzk .66 25/20 that I’m trying for 9.5mm, quite a nice draw.....easier that the pink precise which is around the same thickness I believe, although the precise has a tiny bit more punch to it....saying that the gzk isn’t lacking at all. The last lot of gzk I had was yellow and didn’t last as long as the precise so I’ll see how this green goes because if it’s does last I think it will be my choice of band....( for now).
  10. New Scout lt fits quite nicely into the pocket. I prefer it without the hand scales which leaves somewhere for your fingers to grip into.
  11. I’m sure most of you have owned a fair few catapults, so if you could only keep one which would it be. Also what’s your preferred set up .....bands n ammo for the catapult. I haven’t shot a load of catapults....but my one to keep to date would be the Simple Shot Scout. At present I’m shooting 25/20mm flat bands. I was shooting precise ( .6 Something), but have just bought green .66 gzk to try. Only ever shot 9.5mm
  12. Do you line your bands up when you shoot?
  13. Bleeding hell! Fair play to him, but £400......wow
  14. That’s bloody lovely. I knocked a quick one up with some spare timber from garage, but after seeing yours I feel inspired to do a better job.
  15. A boxing glove! It had a pair of nice pair of jugs on it I may have had a bid.

  17. Nice that......I would love to do one in my garden, but it’s like a postage stamp. Ive been taking mine up to the woods when i exercise the dogs.....I park in the middle of nowhere, but I just got back to the car and found a Police leaflet saying I shouldn’t be out there ( about 7 mins away from my house in a car).....I can understand it, but I’m away from everyone.......yet it’s ok to walk around my block with the dog which is busy than ever.....oh well. Incidentally when out this morning I took my precision band, think it’s .65 and the theraband gold. Enjoyed shooting both, you ca
  18. I’ve got a scout Lt and I use precision pink/ red colour bands at the moment, think it’s either .60/65, 25-20mm. I’m shooting 9.5 balls. I found the precision to last better than the gzk bands....just my opinion. The gzk ( which were at the time ready made bought bands) always went prematurely near to the pouch.
  19. Posted it above, not sure if it’s the one you were on about though.
  20. I’m shooting that exact copy of the scout, used to have the original, but I ruined it......no difference between the two. Ive just treated myself to ordering a new scout lt, it’s a bit smaller than the scout and slimmer, also it comes with those aluminium band clips (which you can also buy separately). Looking forward to it arriving.
