  7. Man, loosing the last five pounds seems to be the toughest part!..lol. Soon as the fights over, im off out for three helpings of Chilly cheese frys!...lmao... LM, there seems to be a fair bit of arguing, and general bitching on this site at the moment, without bringing up old subjects...Vim would kill me im sure, lets leave it at that until/if we see each other again eh?...no need to ruin a hunting site with non related subjects!... :thumbs-up: Kye..

Found a nice little place to train in Columbia...its basicly me, and two or three other guys, plus the guy that trains us (he is also a fight promotor) We also have a few lads from American Top Team turn up a few times a week, which is great for the BJJ. 10. Hi Mate,.. I wouldnt bother with the buckets, the 'blind sets' work just as good, if not BETTER...of course, i have used them in conjuction with Duke leg holds etc for fox and other critters in the desert...never failed, and when i run my trap line this season, they will all be blind setts mate...give them a go! Kye,..

    good watch!

I understand that its there heritage, and i have nothing against that,...i like to see a hunting type of people enjoying there chosen pursuit,.. But i would much rather see that bird take a Grouse or another type of bird than that Gazell(spl?)...just dosnt seem that sporting to me????.. Kye,..

  14. I think many terrier lads wish they lived back in the early 1900's, not because of the quality of the terrier, but because of the quarry available, and the more flexiable laws that enabled the use of terriers for game... IMO, yes some breeds have suffered, some beyond repair...BUT...when you read old books, there is often talk of doubling terriers up, having more than two down a earth even...Lucas talks about 12 at one time!..lol. I think there are lines of terrier out there today that could hold there own with ANY line/type/breed back in them days, if not better!.. Like with the

    Tia

I would own Tia in a heart beat...a real nice bitch behind a hare...hope to see her work again this fall. Cant wait for next season...let him have a look when hes about 18 months or so... :thumbs-up: Tim, the red bitch had a good do in CO not long back...2hrs 30mins to three coon...a 31lb a25lb and one about 18lb...she also had a Bobcat in NV...she is ok, but she 'aint nothing special in the ground...just dont like them tight places...quarry dont seem to be the problem, just here they live..lol. 20. Crops have started to come down, game EVERYWHERE.. Sounds great eh?...wrong! Started getting the dogs fit, and they was coming on nice, but not for long... Blister (male Stag) hurt himself while killing a coon (bite to the shoulder joint, right in the bone) he seemed fine at the time, next morning he couldnt even walk...off to the vets, they say he has torn all the ligaments in his shoulder!...he has a rough coat, so the wound was real hard to find...so he was laid up, but soon healed with Meds and good grub and rub downs etc. Tor (bitch Stag) came in heat and struggled...it was her first
  21. No worries mate..just let us know!.. Kye,.
  22. Seriously, i have never seen feet on running dogs like the feet on these dogs...the wifes bitch does/has suffered..but she is mostly Greyhound...the Staghounds have feet, imo, tougher than a collie/greys...they are big dogs, my bitch is 31", the male 29"...apart from skinned stoppers, and a few nicks and grazes, they came through the rough sw desert ok...of course theres cactus, which is horrible stuff...dont seem to bother the dogs while they run, but it is the devil to get out...sometimes get as many as 30+ spines in each foot...i avoid it if i can... Kye,..
  23. I wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy mate!..lol...Joe, your welcome over anytime, all you need is Airfair. Kye,.
  24. We went that far becuase we had heard there was a rabbit plauge!..lol...there was rabbit sign everyhere, but it was a still, moonlite night, and what with about 50 different predators out for rabbits, they dont like being out on them nights!..lol...the snow was about 3" deep in the deepest parts, and none what so ever for acres and acres. We had LOADS more rabbits local to us...if you want to run your dogs across quartz and rock...you had to choose you area carefully...the local dry lake beds was best for coursing! The brindle bitch is roughly Staghound X Greyhound (supposdly!!!) and t
