  3. Well after all the festivities, I decided to hit the woods with my .177 fx wildcat hopefully to bag a squirrel or two . Got to the woods at just gone 8am and me and the dog settled in beside an old oak tree overlooking a few ivy clad beech trees . Digging out the squirrel call and giving a few blasts on that eventually a nice size buck squirrel came into view , the dog spotted it first though ! He loves them . Zapped the squizzer with the range finder 37 yards and dropped it with a JSB to the nogging ☺and a nice retrieve the the dog .? piccy below https://i.ibb.co/M6kK4DD/i

  8. To be honest , the mounts came with the scope . Not a big fan of Hawke mounts their quality is a bit hit or miss The Mrs is going to get us a sports match one piece mount for Xmas , so will swap them over . The mounts are a little high for my liking , I prefer them a little lower Will stick some piccys up of the various guns I have and had in the week . Had them stored on photobucket but the robbing gits want money these days for third party hosting . Need to get them removed from there Mike

Thanks si,was gutted after losing Bracken he was a star , got another now called jet had him at 8 weeks and he's just turned 4 months now , I forgot how much work a pup is again ! ☺ but he's coming on now all legs and ears now not forgetting teeth ☺ I like the Bisley magnums and used them years ago , the compatto dosn't like any of the jsb or variants but its fitted with a hw barrel which tend to Faver the h&n brands better Mike ☺

Went out this evening the first time for a few weeks due to other commitments and training my new lab puppy ☺ lost my last one in May , a lovely black lab he was 13 and the best shooting partner you could ask for . Anyway decided to have a mooch about at one of my local shoots as they are about to cut the crops and decided to wait along a bank of trees and see if I could bag a pigeon or two ☺ I had the .177 compatto with me this evening and combined with the Bisley magnums it does the job nicely ? Managed to stick four birds in the bag , and now looking forward to the pigeon decoying I have

  16. On my kral breaker bullpup , had similar results a good strip down and polish and have a look at the crown on the barrel I re-faced it and then the group's tightened right up and was very accurate taking a lot of quarry at 50 yards plus ☺ Mike ☺

With the weather down here in Torquay lovely this evening I decided to take a wander with the compatto to hopefully stick a bunny in the bag ☺ Got to the farm at just gone six and decided to target a paddock which houses a nice pond with some nice carp in ☺ Anyway there is a narrow path that leads down one side of the pond nd this is where I've seen a few bunnys in the past I got myself dug in against the hedge and set up the shooting sticks for a rock steady hold .
