Maybe running to those extremes uncovers any heart defects someone was born with? I used to run for Yorkshire until around 16 year old and it is very taxing on the body, I can't imagine the stress a marathon puts on someone.

I think people have the mentality that because he survived and gave Golovkin a little trouble he automatically wins the fight. Jacobs was out landed, floored and wobbled on a few occasions, he lost the fight even though Golovkin looked far from his best. I lost a bit of respect for Jacobs with the shenanigans he pulled on fight day when he shunned the IBF same day weigh-in, rumours are he weighed 180-190lb in the ring. I believe Golovkin is on the slide but that was still enough to beat the next best Middleweight who was huge on fight night, Canelo wouldn't pose the same problems for GGG

I thought that but now way in hell would he risk a loss to secure those fights. I personally think he's on the slide, let's not forget he's 34 with near enough 40 professional and 350 amateur bouts to his name.

He was never in serious trouble but he laboured to victory, he's no spring chicken and doesn't look the same fighter as before.

I think Golovkin won but he looked very poor doing so. It's either his mentality or he can no longer pull the trigger, he never got out of first gear throughout the fight. He should have been pouring it on in the championship rounds but for whatever reason there was nothing there. I personally think he's aged overnight and is passed it. Go and watch some of his early fights, the loss of speed is massive. Brook definitely asked questions of him, this fight confirmed he's not what he was IMO, like I said earlier it's a shame the best years are behind him and they've gone unnoticed by missing
