front tyres could also be low on air causing the front of the deck to catch the ground

ok try looking at the drive pulley under the engine between the front wheels has that shifted? as the drive belt runs from the front of the deck up to that pulley otherwise not much makes sense without pictures. the rear of the deck is controlled by the grass cutting height handle and the front of the deck is on those two bars which go up and down accordingly the cutting deck should be suspended by four bars,two on the front two on the rear
