me and the missus were chilling yesterday and reminiscing about school dinners. i dont know what they are like these days (pretty crappy here in canada) but our faves were school curry rissoles spotted dick and thick custard coconut jam sponge cake pink blancmange and they we digressed to salt n vinegar crisp butties and banana butties ?

i used to shoot them when we seen them. some would come to the rabbit call when we went out lamping. the landowners would have a list of live or die policies.i adhered to it.

worked half a day today as its a bank holiday weekend over here. so i hit both bait spots in the afternoon considering they are both 40 mins form my house each way. grabbed some peas from the local elevator and off i went. cam down on the farmland had 230ish pics in 2 weeks,few does with fawns,no end of elk and nice return of the boars (last pics in post) pretty impressive large bull elk roaming by a few times.nightime pics will be better net time as i changed out the batteries. cam in forestry had 330ish in 2 weeks,just a few spiker bucks and does (first pics).

dont see them often enough,think i have shot 2 in 11 years and clobbered one with a shovel mate.loads get run over and combined lol i dont know of anyone who has found a beast with it i really dont know of anyone who has sent in a sample. i havent seen an ill looking deer/moose/elk around for a long time the sask government is always reminding hunters about it.

Just purchase off amazon an Iphone SD card reader small lead plugs into the phone so when i go check my various game cams i can instantly download the photos to my phone. nowt worse than heading home and checking the card a steal for 16 dollars
