Talking if this years comp. The kids have asked if we can take them, me and Owain have explained the score but they are very keen. Kev had said something about a bench being put at the fishery and I think if the lads wanted to have a little moment for john they were thinking of bringing a little bit of his ashes down to scatter at the fishery with a beer in hand etx.

I’ve got a bull x that could piss five runs a night. And I know of several more. I’ve caught bags of rabbits with a bull x and taken one hunting up on the dales mullering rabbits out of reeds and snatching them in front of other Lurchers, I’ve got a coursing bred dog, and I’ve got a pat x. I must be living in cloud cucko land ?

But you’re one of those folk who ask a question then interpret the answer to suit yourself and try and be clever and make others look foolish. Don’t take that the wrong way it’s an observation.

How come you’re an expert in everything ? You trying to say the days where lads chucked multiple terrier in and had twenty blokes digging one set a day the dogs were better than the ones lads keep now who have hundreds and hundreds of digs to a single dog, who could stay to ground 12 hours without giving its quarry an inch. No offence but you got to accept you know a lot about coursing dogs and plenty of lads know a lot more about a lot of other stuff.

These days locator collar, in the past god knows cos I wasn’t there. But the modern terriers are far far superior to those in the past. They used to trench to mute dogs I think mate.

You honestly saying you don’t know running dogs which are silent when running but scream if kept on the slip etx when another dog is running it killing it’s quarry? Thought you’d seen it all mate

I would imagine that dog is screaming to get to a dig. If you’ve never seen a dog that’s mute and stays till dug, screaming it’s lungs out on a chain to get to what a dog is doing. You ain’t done much earth work.

Just for you lads to know. We sent him off right yesterday. It was a tough day for all concerned, but it was a proper welsh send off. He’d have loved it, but he’d have been too busy running about chatting to everyone, laughing with folk and checking everyone was happy.

Thing is no one knows who does what. I’ve seen you on here laughing at and mocking a lad who I know has superb dogs abs kills more than most folk I’ve ever met while at the same time saying how great or experienced a man is who I know for a fact does very little. See it all the time on here, been a few dogs everyone says use as a stud if you want x type. Reality is most folk never seen says dogs in the flesh let alone run. One dog I’m thinking of couldn’t catch f**k all, average rabbit dog at best, I’ve seen it run. Yet men always bum it up on here ? one lad on here I know comes across as a mi

Funny story but the first time I seen a scooby in action like that it was a coursing dog that came out the motor ? happens a lot by us, it’s always the hare lads driving the ground throwing dogs about ? know it happens with bull x to. Happens with all sorts.
