They do indeed mate, hoping a rainy day might be ideal. Down side is all the little dogs are struggling now.

We are hoping the same. Going a couple hours up country tomorrow to push out a block of elephant grass. Pushed six Charlie out last time, so fingers crossed!

Decent set up helps to !

Decent end product.

We talking the one from Spain or one from Dales ?

Aye obviously you can eat it yourself and give to friends etc. But if you’re doing any serious level of culling these days, you just can’t eat that much meat. There are lads shooting 700 plus fallow deer a year. Thats a serious amount of meat!

If it’s not been head shot it’s worthless.

No mate. Choking isn’t really my thing to be honest, just sometimes you got to keep folk happy ? I draw the line at any form of knife play, burning etc. Nb - I am now in a happy and normal relationship with my normal Mrs and we have normal sex ?

To be fair you’re probably not looking at much more than 25kg for a roe carcass once processed.

Someone wants to pay me £6 a kilo in the skin, they are welcome to it. But last time I checked game dealers were paying £1-£1.50 a kilo, head shot and ladder Gralloched.

While we are on the subject of sexual exploration. One thing I’ve always found interesting is just how many woman have rape / strangulation fantasies. It’s very very common. It used to absolutely fascinate how different folk were once you got their clothes off and into bed. Sometimes you’d guess right and sometimes you’d be miles off! But it is a very good way to see into someone’s soul.

I used to be a terrible human being if I am honest ? never intentionally hurt anyone, but just wanted to experience as much of anything as I could. Travelled all over, drank and smoked too much, sniffed, swallowed, licked any and every chemical and natural substance I could find, and attempted to seduce any and every woman I met. I now have a terrible short term memory, a body that feels a lot older than it should, a couple of illegitimate children probably and some cool stories.

Interestingly, having slept with women from most European countries; Oz, nz, America, Canada and a few others ...... there are deffo different vibes and attitudes to it all. In general British woman are both, the least initially adventurous and open and yet the easiest to get into bed. They were also the ones that got the most hung up over sexual encounters. Other Europeans ranged from “we have six for sport” to “now you have kissed me you must meet my mother”. My top nations would be - any Scandinavians, the Dutch and Germans, for openness and not going nutty post nakedness.

So much of human behaviour is related to power. In fact the words - power, identity, kinship and ritual account for most things in humans.

I think wilf highlights the issue. We have become very very desensitised to sex, porn, violence, drugs etc etc. In terms of porn, every kid has a smart phone and every kid can access whatever they like and pass it around to mates. Every kid also seems to think they live in an episode of skins and devoutly follow the “yolo” mind set..... which is true, but whilst you might only live once, it’s quite a long life if you’re labelled! Its sadly quite common that young lads think all women want f***ing and talked to like they are in a a porn movie. And it’s also sadly quite common that girls th

Is that not just the dappling of the light on a black dog? -
Yep I saw a bitza bitch run into one in the forest and get scooped up and tossed, whether that was intentional or accidental I don’t know. And I have also seen a bitch retired through injury due to having its foot stamped on whilst running one on a stone track, a bit of a random accident. Was just meant to highlight that the size poses a different set up issues.

I’ve noticed it’s very different ton different places. Have mooched about in some counties south of here, smaller fields, double fenced tall hedges. And you’re right they stand like cattle and then trot to jump a gap in the hedge, or mill about if there isn’t one. Then it’s just all down to if a dog wants to grab one, but it’s was a bit of a different proposition when one was running flat out a good distance from you when the dog gets slipped pre ban on a decent one. Especially if it’s just heading for a wood edge with no fence ..... and especially if it’s running down hill at all ? law of phy

Seem dogs take a let hold and get opened up like a can of beans by those tusks abs also take a neck hold and get a bad do off the spikes coming backwards fast.

When I say catch I meant on the deck. And aye I’ve seen dogs kicked off, stamped on, thrown into trees, spiked and end up dead. Seen plenty dogs running them waiting for a mistake not wanting to commit when at full run.

These wee ninjas have some serious fight pound for pound. Fascinating things.

Yer to be fair mchull right on this one - big fallow would be 80-100 kilo and a miniature Shetland pony would be about 120kg. We kill out fat cattle over about 700kg.
