Pellet pigs taste like crap compared to wild browns. The only good thing about them is their size. I used to do a lot of reservoir fishing and it was good crack, but prefer the river or smaller hill lakes etc now. I’ve been a few places where it’s like fishing for big rainbows in a bath tub ? quite good fun, but a bit soullessZ

You won’t beat a terrier x for teeth. Lots of xs will do them. But they seem to wed to it easy and are still doing it when others have packed up and gone home. The rest though is down to the individual dog, and it’s breeding. You really cannot beat genetics.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Some will listen and enjoy the stories and others will always mock them. And some will enjoy them, listen and still mock them. It’s just the way of people. It has always been so, except now there are very few with much of much interest to say. Don’t be put off please.

Mine pretty much are just carcass fed most of the winter wirh some dry ok the side.

Aye they eat mostly flesh all winter but over summer dry feed is easier and when I’m away the Mrs finds it better for her to feed etc.

Two things - 1, all they ever talk about is lamping out of a motor and call it hare coursing. 2 - but I can still go out in brewing season and gut shoot as many as I like with a shotgun ? Or fly my bird at it so it stabs it do death in the guts? Cool.
