I only used it for chicken and worked perfectly and a Maori mate smoked eel on it, I think he just put foil under the eel. The chicken was sort of between roasted and smoked.

The Weber kettle can smoke anything and be a BBQ. I used to butterfly chickens and smoke them for about 40 min with just burnt down wood coals, put the lid on and the fat would keep it smoking. I also used mine as a fire pit at parties and while they look a bit flimsy I had mine for about 8 years and it never burnt through.

And I reckon the shepherd types would learn pretty quick. Back when they were hated in sheep country over here, German Shepherds were extremely popular and that meant uncaring dickheads had them too and let them run loose at night. I don't trust any dog loose by itself around sheep, even the best trained dogs can revert back to their wolf ancestors when the master isn't around. Stock guardian breeds like Kangals might be the exception.

Lol, your opinion would mean a lot Rick because you know otter's behavior. I was just wondering if racoons are on the menu or was it some territorial attack on it. My mate had a whippet that would bring down small roos then fck the body, a bit disturbing, lol.

Don't know much about either animal but was the otter going to kill and eat the racoon?

Years ago they were practically thought of as wolves in sheep country here. Loose or feral sheep dogs probably kill more sheep than all other breeds put together do. I think Shepherds were just scapegoats in reality.

I've never really thought of the German Shepherd as a hunting dog but a mate has one and says it's one of the best pig dogs he's owned and rarely gets injured.

I love working bulldogs and they are awesome animals but I think there are working terriers that are as game as APBT's but with more sense.

They look strong and fast. I had two sister whip/stags that were a great pair and worked well together and were best mates.

I think he was Italian by the name, his family have commended police for killing him so he must have been a menace for a while.

I think the cnt was mentally ill, there are thousands like him loose on the streets that should be in cages but they don't have the room and they don't care. At least one of them is where he belongs, as backfill.

For pigs you won't ruin them taking them out young with the older dogs, the mrs used to take 4 month old, heavily bull blooded pups and they'd lug up when the older dogs got hold. I always started ferreting with the whippet types at ten weeks and they learnt quickly, mainly to avoid obstacles before their speed came through.

Australia used to be a very chilled, laid back country until they let boatloads of human garbage in, now there are stabbing murders daily. I have a 9 month old grandson in Sydney so this hit home to me. We have nobody to blame except ourselves,
