  1. Nice looking kits. Good on your daughter for getting the kits tame and for getting involved with them, my youngest 2 girls ages 9 and 12 love coming out ferreting and playing with them in the garden but they will not come anywhere near the cleaning out
  2. Sounds like and looks like you had a good day
  3. They say that a ferret becomes imprinted on there food after a year old, they will eat anything you give them in that time period after that it becomes difficult to covert them sometimes. Try them on mince first as it's easier to eat
  4. Looks like she is gonna be a good one. I've got a Jill from last year that's a bit like that, even when I give them one out of the freezer she goes into killer mode
  5. Thanks Charlie i took it to my local gun club and they said it's sounds like the seal has gone. £40 to fix it and give it a service
  6. So I think I've done something wrong with it. As I said the other when I got the gun I was hitting targets at 30yards with no problem. Today I et home from work early and went to one of my permissions and after a while took aim at a pigeon and the pellet fell on the floor, so I went back to my van and stared to fill it up and after a few seconds air started to come of the cylinder where the brass peace joins the black bit. As I said this is my first pcp so any info will be great. thanks in advance
  7. He said all he wants in return is a rabbit every now and then bless him
  8. Hi lads. To cut a long story short, my great uncle gave me his gun today, it's a s200 10 shot. I've never had a pcp before, it's a 22. I have shot it at some targets today and it's very accurate, light and very quiet.is there anything I need to no about pcp or this gun in particular and what are your views on it. Im chuffed with it I am going to put a new sight it
  9. I can't wait. Went out for a walk the other day with the dog and rifle and the cover is still so thick. I went to one warren that is usual full of rabbits and it looks like it's been taken over by wasps. I think it's going to be a least October before the cover dies off
  10. I'm getting really itchy feet, just back back from turkey and I said to the missus on the plane that I'm so tempted to get them going early.
  11. I do quit a bit of it. I've done school fates and kids party's and a couple of fundraisers in my local pub and church hall. We do ferret roulette as well and I've even made a ferret size agility course of the kids to run them round on a lead and harness but that's work in progress lol. It's all good fun for the ferrets and the kids. Most of the people I come across find it hard to believe that they go from rabbit killers to playful balls of fun with there kids. I also use it to do a bit of pr
  12. Looks good, there gonna be happy ferrets
  13. I've got to hobs together they are brothers from last years litters. I had to separate them from there dad how is the dominant male. But them in there own area and they have lived fine all summer
  14. Hi and welcome. Yes he will be the right age when the season starts. It sometimes takes a while for them to no what they are supposed to be doing, if they have not got an older ferret to follow, so don't expect things to start with a bang . Good luck and enjoy
  15. I wish you was closer, my daughter loves silvers. They look well mate
  16. Welcome back And good luck with the new house and new permissions
  17. My shed was a pigeon loft, so there is a lot of air flow and the front wire have way up.
  18. I put sand in a big dig box and in the mornings I soak it and they seem to spend most of the day asleep in there. I then wet it again when I get home from work. I guess that's an advantage of having them in a shed and not a hutch
  19. She had been with my v hob. The vet said it was called pyro. They have advised my to get Jill's spayed if I'm not wanting to breed from them
