    That time of the year for conventions. So we about 3hr down to the one for the Louisiana Trappers and Alligator Hunters association convention and so far it's been a real good time and it not even the day of the event ? Started out with a crawfish boil,then went to a snare making ( and child labor 101 lol ?) class while making a bunch for auctioninh off ,then a bonfire along with some home made wine and story's Tomorrow the real fun starts. BBQ, trapping demos, chatting with other trappers , swapping and selling various gear,even got a beaver skinning competition ? so far when

    Anyone else happen to dabble in aquaponics, hydroponics,or any other form of permaculture? Doin some yard work and decided it's about time to try and do a little weeding ,clean the pump ect. Gotta say it's a neat little conversation deal . Especially with the fish wanna come out but thery didn't feel like a photo op today lol

    Boys what I got right here is a fine example of a well bred and trained Mississippi treein possum. He's well trained to tree ,track and retrieve! Will go in them knotholes and chase em out of ya. Ever shot one and he stayz hangin on the branch ? He'll get him down no problem. Takes up less then 1/4 room of a dog, basically a trash disposal don't bark and good with kids...kinda......after the third bite if he's still drawing blood he just don't like you kids. $600 firm.     You know since I'm the newest and youngest admin I don't have the ability to ban people but I asked about him to the other admins and they told me basically no no can't do anything or say anything because he's technically not breaking any rules but no no one wants Hime to be an admin....like wtf. My deal is the forum is full of pics of dead animals heated political talk yadda yadda yadda but some saying SHIT in a 20min long video is gonna be the thing that warps and contorts some child's poor mind ?

    So I help moderate another fourm I'm on and I'm about to pull my hair out with one guy. So the forum has a few rules no politics , keep it kid friendly yadda yadda yadda . Well I got one guy that I get at least 1-6 emails a day reporting people. Like seriously this guy never posts but will go though Every post every video link somone posts and I'll get an email along the lines of : At 15:26 in the video the word d@$m was used and at 20:51 son of a bi@$h was also used . This is not kid friendly this is the 34th time this person's has made a post with cursing and I feel he should be banned for a

    So long story short this is an chapter out of one of my favorite books/movies. Deals with a Game Warden leaving to catch commercial wild duck poachers from master poacher.     Was just walking to the break room and there was kid standing by an isle lookin confused, looked to be about 18-19 think ,had a piece of paper and I stop and ask if he needs some help. Says yeah looks at the paper and reads off : he's looking for a can of A I R ,a skyhook ,and a left handed hammer. I looked at him and and before I can say something he about runs off and says he thinks he knows where to find the hammer.......     I'm telling y'all these trail cameras are invaluable!! Short little five minute video of a new cage trap I'm testing. Been having dropped doors for the last two days and I thought the trap was just too short and they where able to back out but nope

    You'll love cast netting! Especially once you learn how to do it one handed ! Even used to use mine to catch ducks and chickens when they got out?
