    Caught my very first flounder today casting around the barge with cap. Apparently it's a pretty good sized one for 19.5" he's a little upset that his was half this size but he's been congratulating me for the last half hour so guess he ain't too sore I'll just call it beginners luck because I had no real clue what I was doing

    I interesting, know a lot of the farmers and cattle guys around here will take animals meds to do basically the same thing, well at least parasites and all... Never done it myself though

    So here something... Recently learned about these deal called crab snares basically is weighted bait cage covered in heavy mono snare loops . Real popular on the West Coast for casting out on beaches and jetties and the like . Crab tries to get the bait moves the rod tip and the snare catch int he legs when you reel in. Really effective for there crabs apparently .     O one more thing , in the winter, if there's snow everything is gonna be shut down , shops highways bridges ect, we just don't have the setups like up north for dealing with it . If it more then a inch or townis in the forecast just get a hotel
