Before people run out on the latest get rich quick scheme, the french bulldog is an absolutely useless breed of dog and I have known plenty of chancers get there fingers burned, because the puppy’s often don’t survive, or the vets bills to deliver them eat up most of the money, have known them sit on and suffocate pups and many born with cleft pallets, WARNING PEOPLE ONLY BRAG ABOUT SUCCESS, FAILURE IS QUICKLY BRUSHED AWAY, a bit like gamblers always talk about the wins

Has anyone seen a homebred dog better a big name coursing dog?

Do you recon, I would agree with the amount of game and maybe it’s reflective of were we grew up, but every man child and woman had working dogs on the estate I grew up on and most did work them to some degree, The only runners I see round today are not even allowed off the lead and if they do get a slip they just keep going never to be seen again ?? -

I,ve never owned a runner that I,ve even known what cross it was, and today as everything is illegal anyway they are just walking companions, it wasn’t the dogs that were great as much as the time and place, loads more game = loads more hunters= loads more captures which = loads more story’s to be told over the years, no mobile phones no police helicopters and no one having dogs and cars taken off them, I wouldn’t even know were to go and see a 100 hares today let alone capture a 100 -

The little brown runner was the best I ever owned even dug to her a few times, but catching loads of hares was never my game ok if they came along but with bunny,s fetching 25/50p Fox,s £15/£25 trout a £1 each and hares masks 50p a pop they probably equalled the least value for money ? ??? -

I,m hoping to spend the rest of my life on a canal boat once I unleash all the burdens of modern life I realise I don’t need to be happy, it’s all about the journey not the destination and that’s why they have time to study butterfly,s and other pleasantry,s that just pass most folk by

If you can boil water on your Kelly a bit of bacon and eggs takes about the same heat and a packet of flatbreads to make wraps instead of sangers uses no space, if you want to eat cold food on the go a couple of cans of baked beans has all you need in the way of goodness for a day or two, i can live function and survive pretty well on hobnobs, (other brands available) for several days and often do, oats are good because of the slow release of energy they give throughout the day, ??

a lot of history gets distorted through time and rose tinted glasses, the shear numbers of hares around in the 80s made good hare dogs more common because hares were everywhere, I remember targets of 100 in a season back in the day, now I probably see 10 a year on a good year, -
Really??

The eu army project is not being driven forward to protect the eu, but to oppress its citizens, take a look at the yellow vest protests in France many un badged non french riot police dishing out beatings every Saturday, ??

Looked after one of those frenchies for a girl I no some time back, thing would faint if you took her out for a decent walk, chuck some water on it and cool it off and it would spring back up ready for another half hour then faint again, she eventually found it dead with its head stuck down the back of the sofa ffs , guess it’s an ideal dog in this modern world of go nowhere do FA screen watching, mum and dad working 12 hrs a day lifestyle, my 15 year old patterdale has more go in it

Don’t no the reason, but I have also noticed an increase in butterfly’s? nature suffers not feast nor famine, so it will be making up for a few bad years I would imagine ?

Don’t work in any of the sectors you mention to qualify as a viable entrant, but as a casual observer of wildlife may I suggest you start rewinding prey animals such as rabbit or find cures for its many diseases and stop focusing on predators, I have seen otters released in rivers with no fish and polecats are popping up all over the place which I assume is another of your re wilded animals, there is no consultation with local interests such as releasing otters out side of fishing lakes or polecats near pheasant shoots, in my own experience nature thrives on neglect and each time you add anoth
