The bands that come with them are not the best and seem to be made of different stuff with each catty, but I have fired 9/10mm steels with no problem, the small fork gap makes it essential to keep the fork dead square and hold it for a few seconds after release, my son tends to push the fork forward which was making him hit his knuckles, I hold mine just like this when I shoot, if it is to small for you the snide scouts from China are also great for less than a tenner and suit a bigger Hand my boy gets on with this fork much better, here is the scout about £7 and my indoor range with target,

Agreed mate but years back they would just go to the local market and buy up the old shite no one really wanted then butcher it themselves all crimes need customers to make them viable, the old Indians cutting throats ain’t out in the field rustling the sheep it’s become a demand and supply market created by modern rules and regulations , not agreeing or disagreeing with it just giving a different angle ??

In my youth I used to enjoy going to the local livestock auctions, watching the Indians bidding on game cocks and old goats etc would see the same old Indians cutting throats in the gutter back in the suburbs, now the auctions have all gone and you can’t just kill your lunch in the street so we have made it a crime and increased the criminal activity by taking away there source of meat and means of preparing it, a bit like many things we once took for granted, like coursing a hare or taking an odd deer we are now not allowed so if we want a bit of free venison we have to break the law and be

Those newborn Leveretts in your link look quite a bit older than the one being held by c greens mate, anyways if they can see or not still does not change the fact hares have been almost wiped out from areas were badgers are overpopulated

a friend of mine who lives up country has a cocker that is constantly bringing in new born leverrets, ok they may be slightly more advanced than other burrowing animals but they still have no defence against predation ??

They are born naked and blind in the open, it takes one night for a badger to find and eat them, all other animals start to suffer in areas with large populations of badgers, not just hares but hedgehogs, rabbits and all ground nesting birds, areas near me I could see dozens of hares out at night are now just alive with badgers and very little else

Man trying to play god again mate, I would say from my own observations, that badger numbers in my area have had a huge effect on hare numbers, have also noticed strangely that there seem to be lots more rabbits and hares living in woodland environments rather than grassland over the last 2/3 years and wonder if this is a natural response to burrows being infected etc ,some of my cams have picked up good numbers of hare and rabbit but all in heavy woodland instead of open pasture,

Glad to help out, I just set mine up with the one sight rail not to bothered with the little torch as I’d wear a head torch if I was shooting at night anyways, must admit I was not expecting much for the money but so far have been really impressed and with some nice long tbg bands (butterfly shooter) and a decent pouch it’s as good as any of the £60 forks I have just don’t go mad overtightening things and it should last ???

There is a catty thread mate you may get lucky on there, I no it does not look as smart but if it’s just for shooting yourself I just cross drill mine and use looped tube, good accurate catty ?

The relationship with there birds is incredible and the fact they release them back to the wild is a real, man and nature in harmony situation, the Chinese cormorant fisherman have a simular relationship with there birds, I,ve never seen a golden eagle but do have a lot of peregrines around me which are a pretty spectacular bop

I,ve been accosted on two occasions for fly tipping, on both occasions I was picking up other people’s dumped rubbish, I think in this country councils place so many restrictions on using your local tip they encourage fly tipping and if they are successful in there latest campaign to charge you for the pleasure of taking your own rubbish to the tip, the fly tipping will go through the roof ?

Before people run out on the latest get rich quick scheme, the french bulldog is an absolutely useless breed of dog and I have known plenty of chancers get there fingers burned, because the puppy’s often don’t survive, or the vets bills to deliver them eat up most of the money, have known them sit on and suffocate pups and many born with cleft pallets, WARNING PEOPLE ONLY BRAG ABOUT SUCCESS, FAILURE IS QUICKLY BRUSHED AWAY, a bit like gamblers always talk about the wins
