Just had two knicked from the woods at work, just buy the cheap Chinese ones, digitnow are brilliant for the money I also avoid the ones that take micro sd cards because in real life they are very easy to drop and loose when changing cards, if you have no choice or end up with micro cards always lay a white carrier bag on the floor underneath the camera when swapping the cards, don’t set them up facing east as sunrise will blind them when animals are most active, trim any branch’s that will flap about triggering the camera and if you can always place a rock or log in the line of site to stop t

Works out a lot cheaper if you buy a ton, the price of coal like most things has scored, I use less than ten bags a year and normally Knick half, but I like the Tay bright about £19 a bag on the petrol station forecourt, burns well and stays in overnight

Massively mate I live in an area rich in sightings so sitting out all night with a caller going and a more expensive thermal should see some decent results plus I will be at liberty to jump in the motor and go at short notice, I absolutely loved the week I spent in Cumbria last year tracking everything was so much easier got quite a bit of stuff when I was there considering I was just dropped on a mountain I’d never seen before, Have never felt so alive as sat up a mountain after dark with no contact with the outside world no WiFi,phone signal, light pollution or other people

If I never had a misses and kids I would have done it years ago just buy a horse box and live on the road, misses and kids are the only reason I carried on, but I have amassed enough to sort them all out if I died tomorrow so basically my job is now done so time for some me time hoping to shut up shop end of April early may

I have shot loads of roe with my catty, back home they are not shot or hunted (semi urban ) and have become thick as shit so I would often put a bearing up there arse as the dog was looming in on them flat out while they stand there munching and just looking at him never saw one drop though but probably saved a few of them

Thought I would be working till I drop but have decided to knock it all on the head and start enjoying myself, going to get my motor home this winter and spend a few months travelling round England until the old dogs are gone then winters in the sun have a few months left to tidy up some loose ends and then I,m out, happy days life’s to busy for working have so much I still want to do and realise that time is running down

P,S Mate it was only a few pages back you and stiffy were claiming there were no excess deaths but now the government are telling you there are but it’s not there fault, not to hard to see how you,ll be having your pants pulled down for some considerable time to come I’d get some ass lube if I were you lol
