  6. Not sure what other people do, most of the people I know myself included start them around 7 months if they are immature minded we hold them back a bit doesn't seem to be any noticeable ill effects, each to their own works for me.
  7. Great photos mate, Ferreting since covid is making a comeback of sorts not sure why, I have a few theories and the price of ferrets this year have skyrocketed as an example I recently purchased 2 10 month old bucks for $320 aud, off a ferreting contractor who is getting out of the game due to cancer, one for me and one for a mate and thats cheap for a ferret right now. I usually have an early crop and a late crop of kits mainly so I have workers throughout the whole time I breed 1/2 early and 1/2 late I will probably keep 1/2 doz this year and pick 3 of those later on to keep as workers. belo

  21. Run all day and turn on a dime if you know what you are looking for, I love the Scottish deer hound x whippet/greyhounds great dogs and make 1/2 decent all rounders for the smaller game and they can and do get used for pigs here too. this is zip yesterday down the river. The purebreds are as you say too big and not agile enough, not sure why the ones you have seen lack stamina but here that is there strength, run all day.
