    I recon the wild cat in .177 gets knocked on pellet choice due to them being quite fussy, the smoothtwist barrels are tuned with jsb/aa variants so most other brands just won't group! the cat in .22 is still pretty fussy but find an accurate pellet and set the power to suit that one. I use 16grain domed any of the above are just as accurate! cos of how there set up heavier pellets don't put it over power they go the opposite way! im with you on airarms rifles, great riffles... had an s510 witch I wish id kept hold of!

    depends on your hunting.... if your out all day long the wolverine is a good rabbit slayer but there a bit of a lump! I've got an wildcat in .22 and have used it twinned with a photon for a year or so now and its perfect for farm work two very different guns but both equally good! atb si

    Cheers Si The oak leaves are already on the turn - it's a perfect match for my DPM smock at the moment I really should get some feeders and a hide set up in there - I didn't see big numbers but, I did see them all through the woods. Good luck on the pigeons mate feeders a good plan jon... one in the middle of the top wood and one in the lower, it'll pull them all in been to that job again today, no pigeons but a rabbit within two mins of getting there!! it was in the crock pot simmering/ taunting me by 10am, the smell kept wafting over! I was bloody starving by dinner

    sounds like a brilliant day/night lads I think its great how lads off here meet up, were all in different wolds job wise and lifestyle but share the same interests! I've got mates with birds and dogs and can happily sit gassing with them for hours! id get another dog tomorrow but I can't dedicate enough time to it so I can't top result for all three of you atb si ps... whats Ethan gonna call his dog

    id like to think I could put it down to that Simon , but its got a new leather sling on thats stiff as f, its rubber backed but laid prone shooting constantly it gets a pain! the leather strap on my 95's not a problem as its soft, I shoot that with the strap sandwiched between my hand and stock!

    Cheers Si I do like them mate - like you said on another post, I think this just fits. I actually don't mind that bear trap - with a piston extension fitted, it only goes as far as 1 click. I wouldn't ever want to be without a springer but, most of my hunting is done at night. For that, I haven't found anything that works better for me than the HW100 and NS Viper. ...... But, if I could find an NV set up that was guaranteed to not self destruct on a springer my mates on about putting his photon on his ps for ratting he's a 100 kid to the core but loves his ps! I'd be interest

    save your money with the rm8 hillbilly I had one years ago.... it was crap, the balance is all to pot and I had it in bits loads of times sorting stuff out! like the lads are saying second hand hw100's are well worth a go and don't be put off by it being second hand cos they last for ever! atb si

    cheers mark it docent look like it but that ps is a head wrecker.... for me any way! I can go out with it and miss everything by a country mile or its lights out the next day! I have to go against how I've always shot and grip the sh1t out of it to get good groups.... it will probably be ace over a primos cos if I remove all human contact from the front its laser accurate, its got next to no recoil now and is so quiet its shocking! I've thought about butchering some of the under stock, cos theres no doubt its good ! just got to get it to fit right! atb si
