    mark asked me a few weeks back about the pros and cons of the 97's and the prosport as he was or is interested in treating him self! well I finished work early cos we ran out of blocks so I had an hour with the ps, after this I was fcuking fuming... I felt like smashing it up! so after picking my lad up from school id chilled out and had another go I didn't keep count of how many shots id put into that group but it was a lot, they were just hitting the mark so I carried on! then I thought about what mark had said and decided to see how the 97's measured up to it the .177 97 was out

    cheers jimmy the pictures could be a lot better, it was bright moon and that was with me shaking about I stood at the top of the paddocks on the hill looking down to the main road where I took you and the horses and rabbits could see me from at least 100yrd so I didn't even bother walking it! just got offered a pint for me two rabbits atb si

    cheers bn its the same mag as yours, I'm still use to the 4.5mag so ranging I was looking down the barrel for the angle to distance! I was knackered when I got in last night, thats why the post is all jumbled up

    wanted to get out tonight with the new photon as I'm gonna be busy for a while! decided rat bashing wasn't going to truly test it so I hit a big bowl field that I know holds a few rabbits and is big enough to test the visibility at distances! got to the gate as dusk was turning and turned it on a rabbit sat there oblivious to the bumbling bloke trying to work out how to record it.. got it sorted and the rabbit dropped at 60ish yrd air born first shot fired with it at night.. I was well happy with that had a scope about but the moon was that bright I was pi55ing in the wind.. had

    wasn't to bad.. it was about 3" low and 1"left from dead zero so the beer can shim did the trick again and only needed a couple of clicks here n there! one of the best changes is it leaves a x on the screen at the old poi so zeroing is ultra easy now

    I've never shot a shop tuned riffle mark so I can't comment on that but I do know what I like and when somethings running well! out of all the above mentioned my 95 has got the best and smoothest firing cycle pity the stock docent handle quiet as well as the others! shame you don't live a bit nearer cos shooting them all is so different its a mine field atb si im not sure the ps would suit the primos, the underside is mega broad

    leave my wall alone its a hard one mark there both spot on and recoil/ accuracy wise an equal match! the prosport looks the part but the 97's loading pips it slightly, I load pellets in springers with my left hand.. always have cos my right hands numb:( I got rid of the tx because of the bear trap, that was as accurate as either of these though regarding quality the 97 took a lot less work to get it as it should be atb si

    its not pissed Jon its got character there are a few decent sized paddocks, loads of woodys too but there still shagging so there off the menu for a while! ill leave this one bee till you come up atb si
