    Just back from a little woodland walk checked out a little bury that always had nice clean holes and the dog always marked to find it was flooded out, so the weather not helping matters. Starting to think that the introduction of vhd was the final nail in the coffin, hope I'm wrong maybe this time next year we might be telling a different story.

    Did anyone ever vaccinate wild rabbits against myxi and rhd, and then release them? Not sure about that one mate

    Lead lads fishing bullet mouldy cost about a tenner for a 12 mil old roofing lead in a sauspan on the stove costs fck all really with the added bonus of being quiet in your pocket and weighs bit more than steel for better clout atb

    Tonight's walk saw dug burys , place is full of them had one run straight at me the other night blind as a bat turned about 10 foot away dog went nuts on slip.

    What kind of ferret bolted them and it must of been some warren!Lol were ferriting in hedgerow and they just kept appearing in field l not to good at this social media lark keep coming across wrong here's a picture think roe only about 70 pound maybe no where near 300 but still a small dog took big quarry cheers

    This year our bit of land produced good numbers, some showed signs of fighting of myxi but the previous year there was very poor so we went else where.on this same land there are some massive burys that we never do leaving to over populate and then fill the smaller easier ones. Myxi constantly mutates to a stronger strain that initially wipes out big numbers then rabbits slowly build up amunity and so the cycle continues . So the numbers go up and down year after year. Now I might be talking out my rusty bullet hole here, if so please correct me.

    I watch a heard of reds quite regular during the summer months separated by large fence dogs run straight for them then run up and down fence all teeth and snot, the deer just give a sideways look and walk on not giving a toss I guess the fence gives them security. I to have some photos taken on phone. Will have to dig out the slr and take some decent ones Think .243 is the best way of getting one in your freezer

    A different beast being roe my mates dog pre ban of course took 4 roe in an afternoons ferriting She was only 19tts whippet in looks although she was a cross not sure what with. My point being she had good technic at tripping them over. Her weight compared to a roe was a big difference not sure what exactly, but the last time I had one on my back it sure did make me puff and blow. Atb

    I have a pest control job, to do next week then that's it, only thing is dogs like a little working snack when your not looking and then its out with the drontal lol

    yeah it was a a combination of a virus and bacteria from the stool sample results from the pup. from what i assume was the raw chicken that was fed to the pup before he had it. he called me this morning saying they are improving slowly. he hopes now that they are both being treated it will be gone for good. he is disinfecting everything but asked me to ask what he could use to disinfected the garden without killing the grass to much????????? to try prevent any chance of it coming back again?????? i couldnt recommend anything cos my yard is all concrete so never neeeed anything like that to do

    Best post in this thread lol My thoughts on tumblers are they are poop, iv seen 2 and both were bad. Seems only folk that like em are folk that have em, not even there mates like em, could it be summat to do with not wanting to admit Jeff fleeced them and they bought his shite? Lol So you got to that conclusion on seeing 2 dogs

    Think I would be going to a different vet mate. Seems to me your doing everything right concerning diet, dehydration would be my concern. Atb mate hope they pick up
