  7. I'm fairly sure, Theo Fossil the founder of The British Stickmakers Guild made a few of these
  8. Thats a very good price for someone. The net itself is a good one at that price.
  9. Good well made knives Graham M. The enzo trapper is a good general type knife, and yes holds a great edge. I also like your Ray Mears type.
  10. The worst wood i ever worked with, when i left school, as a wood machinist, was Afrormosia. That used to burn my throat and eyes. I just use mainly Hazel, Blackthorn, and Holly with stickmaking, but don't really do much of that now. If anyone has any of the early copies, of The BSG magazines, you will see Dave Owens and Bob Graham, with regular tips and methods,- most are now used by most stickmakers. Thats me and Bob.
  11. I never had any problem with the dust when working holly. The first holly shank , heart wood i did, was all done with a rasp, files and sandpaper. It turned out fantastic, but my brother has it,- i wish i'd kept it now. That took a long time to do, but was well worth it. I'd use a plane now though.
  12. No, the bark is left on.
