  1. What i can say, is, it does not add-up. So much is wrong with it.
  2. Andy Kelly post in the ferreting section. 6th January looking for a ferreting buddy for in the week to give me a hand on permission up in derwent. only stipulation by the landowner is the person must have personal insurance and no lurchers are allowed. if interested please drop me a pm as hope to be back out soon as the doctor gives me the ok ( me) I have to have personal insurance on the land i'm on,- incase of accident or injury. The farmer did not tell me to have personal insurance, incase i'm attacked. !!
  3. I have no wish to appear to being nasty to anyone,- but when i first heard, i phoned to ask who was it, did he recognize them, but at that time was told, no he did not see them, as he was hit from behind. So much is different each time. Its a tough one, as said previously.

That photo is my mate Paul with Bruce. He is very likeable. As i say a great bloke. Paul took him to a local but great chippy, at Seaton Sluice for dinner,- nothing fancy about Bruce. The two girls serving in the chippy recognized Bruce, so they got their fish n chips free. !!!

Bruce was up here in Cramlington, a few weeks ago, staying with my mate. He is a great bloke, very down to earth and very humble type. Full of life. Yes an ex-marine. He is a very fit type of bloke. My mate makes his knives.
  6. Walshie, i'm not sure why thats gone on twice ?
  7. You have no idea how bad i felt, having to write what i did. Even now just thinking about it.
  8. It is a sad situation allround
  9. Not best mate, by the way,- i knew him as the net-maker in the marquee. I did not know him outside of there personally.
  10. with you being his ex best mate, would you say he's 100% spoofing? Before this, i'd have said he was a decent bloke. I just don't understand this. It may have been something that got out of hand,- but to then keep it going.
  11. I had tried at the start to back-up the account of what had happened. I thought that would be easy, but i was not able to back-up anything, and never got the same story twice. People had started to realize there were inconsistencies and it did not look right. As i said previously, what could i do from then on. I had to say something.
  12. That was pre-planned, not on the spur of the moment, or panic ( The Weardale Gazette & Countrymans Weekly i mean )
  13. Why also send the story to the Weardale Gazette, and Countrymans Weekly. What was the idea behind that. ?
  14. One thing has bothered me about this,- why did no-one call the police when he was found, or when the emergency service was called to such a vicous attack,- the call to them of an attack like this would automatically go through to the police, for their own safety also.
  15. Truther,- if your questioning something i have said, please elaborate, as i made sure i checked everything. Who is being had ? and in what way.
  16. So do i, but i have to stand by what i said,- you don't think it was easy to say that, because i know them,- the farmer said he knew of no attack, nor did anyone in the village mention it. I had tried to back up the story but it was going the other way. The other big point was the air-ambulance insisting the only injury was a possible broken arm, and no-other injury.
  17. If you read the first post, it was paulus who edited the post to add the whip-round, not me.
  18. I have known Andy and Tonya for a long time,- and i had hoped to back them up, but as try as i could i find something is wrong here. Perhaps it was a tale that got out of hand but, as i find,- When i spoke to Tonya a few nights ago, she said When she got the call from Andy, she phoned a keeper, who went out on a quad, to find Andy, although she says they had a good idea where Andy was. She also text the farmer who was away at the time, and he sent someone else out. She says Andy had fell into a ditch and partly under a wall ( i presume after the "attack" ). The ambulance had wanted him c
