  3. i thought they had to be worked or they do nuts.i think he's just after a yard dog.i'd say bull mastiff.
  4. i've found that they rarely bite in my hands.there more likely to bite when picking up.so i spend time putting them down for a couple of minutes then handle for a couple minutes and repeat.i spent time stroking there heads to,just so they can see my hand coming and not to worry about it.i'd happily put them down my trousers going commando and shaking my hips around but i made my son practise it first.true.
  5. last year i heard some rattling up a hedge,thinking it was a rabbit i sent my deerhound x in.poked my head in and she just caught a sparrow hawk.it must have been injured.she brought it back dead.shame i like all b o p.

  9. never had a guard dog although my border was very,very protective of me but my personnal prefence would have to be a german shepard.they must be the best thats why the police/army and private places use them.

  11. i know ridgebacks are useless but when ratting on a farm with the farmer,2 came running around the side of the barn.couldn't really relax knowing they were around.just the sight of em is enough.
