From the little ive seen sheepchaser is a good man with a dog if its got a sniff of bieng useful he will get it going. I seen this bitch when he first got it and fair does to him hes put in alot of time with her i wouldnt of but i respect him for doing it. We all different aint we i aint trying to be a hunting hero or hardcore dog man i just like to be honest and i like to keep a dog that gives me abit back for putting the time into them that could be spent doing other things.

I think sheepchaser is sort of offering the dog to someone on here and this is hes way of doing it. Not saying he should put it down or dump it or sell it its upto him my posts are aimed at folk that say theres no need for it abit disrespectful to the folk that take responsibility for there animals rather than taking a chance giving them to a stranger

I put me own dog down at nearly 6 year old as i didnt want him sat in a pen watching other dogs go out lamping hed had a good life me other half and me littleun thought the world of him had since six weeks old. Wasnt nice but was the best thing for him at the time in my opinion. But we are all different. Im sceptical of these forever homes people seem to find for lurchers and then we gotta ask is it fair on the dog alot of the time ?

Sometimes its better knowing there in ground then wondering where theyve ended up. Id be very dubious of rehoming anything at the moment especially a bitch even if spade dont mean it doesnt hold abit of value to someone unkowing. I allways think if its not good enough for me its no good to others its not nice but its part of hunting with dogs if youve any sort of mindset youll get failures its what happens to the failures that shows alot about a person

All that dead coat and looking like they been dragged through a hedge is par for the course with them aint it. They seemed very very popular fir a minute but know one or two bought in as adults that cant even be let out of a oen just too much dog for alot of peoples places aint it

Aye i could imagine if you have a very big place theyd be ideal there deffo a very intimidating thing when they kick off.

The caucasian and central asians seem to be good on a territory but there abit big to handle and will bark at literally anything before ya know it you aint overly paying attention to the dog. Good old german shepherd hard to beat i think but might go through a few before ya get a goodun.
