Yes as has been said what about ferreting to nets is that sporting??? Every escape point covered and a demon entered, no escape, killed in your own luxury 10 hole pad or enmeshed in a net with a broken kneck at the end... Is that sporting? Theres only two things truely sporting on here... running an animal SINGLE handed daytime any animal with a dog or flying a hawk... So if people want a sporting chance for everything they should hang up there lamps, ditch there snares, guns, nets, etc .. Or get a dog and call everyone else unsporting Although you will be out doubling up your

The Difference being Ian is they Dont breed like Rabbits. Once a Healthy Population of Hares are decimated in any said location they dont recover like Rabbits can. From experience I have never seen a hare population decimated, what happens is you may reduce it periodically but hares are migrants they cover large area's moving between farms and estates, they will repopulate area's from these, this happens everywhere, although the population in certain locations vary depending on land and farming practices, Its hard to compare with rabbits as there localised, there's to many variables

A lot are not actually shot dead , they are shot and wounded then crawl away to die a slow lingering Death. With Coursing they actually live or die no iffs or buts, one or the other. BAN Hare shooting, its the only Ban i would advocate. What a winner you sound like... I take it you'd know about how many hares die a ''slow lingering death''???? Never shot a hare, but I guarantee a 12 gauge at 20 yards hitting it won't cause it to die any slower than having its neck broke by a dog. Actually they don't get their knecks broke they normally get crunched and die or scream like a

There hares, theres millions of them... If I was out with a dog I'd course them, if I was out on the lamp I'd run them with a dog when legal of course.. If I was out lamping and there was plenty, I'd shoot them, if I was out during the day and flushed them I'd shoot them... If I was snaring I'd snare them, if I was out with a mates goshawk i'd fly them To me there no different than a rabbit, deer whatever there all living animals... I normally leave them, but it all depends on farmers, numbers, etc.. I think people are pretty blinkered, we all know a dog either catches or do

Had chance to look at this the other day, to be honest when I put it together it was a bit of a rush, as I didn't have much time.. I removed the mounts and took a look at the rear mount with the stop pin in, looks like it was touching the cz dovetail notch as its ramped...so removed it, remounted it and checked the zero, still out and to start with didn't think I could get any further left on the windage, so rotated it to the limits either side to see if anything was sticking.. I think I got further adjustment left on it, might of been a bit tight...its zeroed in now, but its still quite f

What a load of bollocks... Firstly if people don't agree with it don't post in this section... Its about shooting the hints kind of in the title??? People have this weird image about hares people killing them or should we say HUNTING them... Its ok to kill one if a dog is used or even two or three, but not ok to kill one with a snare, gun or any other method??? But its ok for any other animals to be killed.. How many pheasants, pigeons, rabbits, foxes get clipped by shotgun shot and run or fly on, but yet with hares its causes even more controversy than normal... Lets just be r

Sorry lurcher, i dont understand Perhaps they were threads will illegal images portrayed. IanB has put something in the running dog section it's perfectly legal where he live's It probably is Hedz, but perhaps with other folk pretending to live in Ireland just so they can show illegal photos Ian has had to make the decision to stop all prey other than rats/rabbits? I don't know, just an assumption? Maybe mate hopefully some new more private site's will pop up and folk's will be able to talk and post picture's of there chosen sport and if somebody would like to start 1 or 2 maybe
