  1. Past hour
  2. Labour of love … you can’t beat history in a building …. I know I’m a bit mental , but do you not think about what’s gone on in that room through the centuries … blows my mind that’s why I love Roman Bath .
  3. Bit different to they usually smallframe vespas.I saw it advertised late Thursday night. Then Friday morning I couldnt find it on fb then at 2pm'ish it popped up on a different group so I messaged the fella and it turned out my pal who builds my engines built it.That was it I chucked half a barrow of muck in the skip got in my motor and at 5pm I was loading it in my pals van.I just had to have it.
  4. The cellar on this place is dated to 1054..started as a saxon long house ..pretty much something been done every century since (apart from wall paper) lol... It's a quest, or a labour of love..im not sure which yet lol
  5. That's some graft, fair play mate
  6. That’s nearly new . I’m lucky I get to work in a lot of old historical buildings in bath …. I regularly get 6 plus layers of paper then 40 years of paint on top …
  7. I do love an RD.They were the reason I stopped riding vespas when I was a teenager.2 older fellas, must have both been close to 60 pulled into the garage I was meeting my pal at Sunday morning on 2 immaculate RD400s
  8. Bedroom and bathroom complete now, just waiting on a few bits, including a bed lol
  9. Fox got the hold of white death it'll break his skinny ass up
  10. 1964 this paper was put on, if guess at 10 coats of paint on it...not struggling as such...but wouldn't say i love it! Lol
  11. Your into all this salukitalk now no time for us peasants so well you going to get a picture of the pupe holding one up tonight or what dirty hammer
  12. I love it too and I get paid for doing it regularly part and parcel of decorating.. makes me laugh when I see people having a go and struggling…same as anything do it the right way and it’s a piece of piss …
  13. Yep, I'd of paid you to do it no worries lol
  14. One of my geekier habits is identifying and counting road kill. Drives my Mrs mad when I stop and reverse to eyeball a particularly interesting road kill. I used to regularly travel to Aberdeen to see my grandkids. I once counted over 70 pheasant kills on a particular stretch of the motorway and over 20 mountain hares on a few mile stretch of road passing through Glenshee. I used to let my whippets course them when it was quiet. You can always claim they were pets and had never done that before. The hares are stupid . Even Mc'hulls desert dogs might stand a chance.
  15. They’re gonna start calling you …. Fake news jukel from now on
  16. Bit like the pheasant s as soon as shooting stops they just start walking in the road to get squashed even see them on the motorway ffs
