Labour of love … you can’t beat history in a building …. I know I’m a bit mental , but do you not think about what’s gone on in that room through the centuries … blows my mind that’s why I love Roman Bath .

Bit different to they usually smallframe vespas.I saw it advertised late Thursday night.Then Friday morning I couldnt find it on fb then at 2pm'ish it popped up on a different group so I messaged the fella and it turned out my pal who builds my engines built it.That was it I chucked half a barrow of muck in the skip got in my motor and at 5pm I was loading it in my pals van.I just had to have it.

The cellar on this place is dated to 1054..started as a saxon long house ..pretty much something been done every century since (apart from wall paper) lol... It's a quest, or a labour of love..im not sure which yet lol

I love it too and I get paid for doing it regularly part and parcel of decorating.. makes me laugh when I see people having a go and struggling…same as anything do it the right way and it’s a piece of piss …

One of my geekier habits is identifying and counting road kill. Drives my Mrs mad when I stop and reverse to eyeball a particularly interesting road kill. I used to regularly travel to Aberdeen to see my grandkids. I once counted over 70 pheasant kills on a particular stretch of the motorway and over 20 mountain hares on a few mile stretch of road passing through Glenshee. I used to let my whippets course them when it was quiet. You can always claim they were pets and had never done that before. The hares are stupid . Even Mc'hulls desert dogs might stand a chance.
