Pre brexit there was a European directive, namely the Dublin 111 agreement. This stipulated that migrants could be sent back to the European country from which they had travelled. After brexit, that agreement came to an abrupt end. So migrants, understandably, piled into dinghies knowing they could not legally be sent back.

Haven’t some Labour councils been given permission to raise council tax by up to 20% ? Councils need huge overhaul, many of them, of all political persuasion’s ,are bankrupt or going bankrupt. I would vote for an independent that had the same police’s as myself if I couldn’t vote Reform. I think that's right, people are increasingly looking to vote for anything other than the main stream parties. Youngsters are looking at the Greens. But to me that's a wasted vote too. The new Green leader, Zak Polanski used to be a hypnotherapist. He had a sideline.
