First read 'of pedigree unknown,' nearly 50 years ago, a paperback edition. An old mate of mine who's about 18 months older than me, got it as a Christmas present. Think it was 1977. Really enjoyed it. Borrowed it off him so many times, he gave it to me lol.

Mchull just to really simplify things as im starting to feel sorry for you if you genuinely dont understand. Any and everybody is entitled to a duty solicitor.....but not everybody is entitled to legal aid. After you have been charged and bailed,or not as the case may be......it is up to you to seek out representation......for most people entitled to legal aid its a conversation with a law firm that go's something like this........ " Good morning ive been charged and bailed do you do legal aid " " Yes/no " And thats it !

Lovely that, smell the leeks

The firms decision to wether they do legal aid you plum .. you don’t join or be allowed to join the firm if you don’t work to their ethics …. Ffs I wouldn’t ask for a duty solicitor ( which means that they are on call and available that day … incase you are confused) … I’d ask for my solicitor… and if he was unavailable then he would have a stand in for that day ….. it’s different mate when you’re a grown up and your parents aren’t taking control of the situation…. You wait and see

Got dismissed after 2 court appearances

Still got nothing to do with not knowing the difference between a duty solicitor at a police station and a solicitor acting for you at trial being paid by Legal Aid. Chid told us about his experiences and you asked why’s that ? We explained The difference between a Duty Solicitor at a police station and a having a solicitor paid for by Legal Aid at a trial. Chid has said that’s exactly what happened…he refused an offer of a duty solicitor at the police station but had solicitors paid by Legal Aid at his trials ! You either can’t understand or don’t want to. Cheers.

I hope so because if he believes half what he writes …. It’s a lost cause …..
-
Lol they change so do solicitors at each firm Next time ask them they say you want a duty say to them who is there and they go threw them thank me later lol
-
There is no list you plum ….. if your solicitor didn’t except legal aid and they wouldn’t be your solicitor would they ffs .
-
I’m sure he just does it to wind me up ! LOL ! Cheers.

Let's answer a question at a time You get arrested what happens if you ask for your solicitor and they aren't on the list that can take legal aid ?

I’m questioning my own sanity right now and thinking maybe I’m making it all up and my life has been a dream …….. challenging is an understatement lol !
