COMPO 54
I have a few of these in the fridge for later http://www.hall-woodhouse.co.uk/beers/badg...urstyferret.asp Also like newcastle brown ale, and john smiths smooth! as well as the other hall and woodhouse beers, Tanglefoot is particularly nice (also some in the fridge at the minute!) If he is coming to England sure he would want english beers and ales .....everyone is recommending foreign lagers???? I drink copious amounts of french red wine........but i am just advising on the english beers as he asked!
jaegervulpes 0
I sank a few of those new Stella Viers (4) the night before last, they were bloody fantastic! Best tasting larger I've had for years, and it was only in tins. Be even nicer draught I reckon. Im sure its Becks Vier, not Stella? I agree either way that its great draught. Otherwise I am partial to Denmarks finest, Carlsberg.
Cornio 0
Don't even bother with the lagers, it's a little boys drink. Get on some proper westcountry cider and not any of that strongbow/blackthorn/bulmers/magners shyte. Or try some real ales - so many to choose from.

The Veir is just German for '4', meaning 4%. Have you not seen that advert for it on the TV, where that bloke falls off the cliff through the washing lines?

I have seen the advert now I think of it, I can remember it being advertised as 'triple filtered' also or something, could be wrong.
