Apache... 2,588
Just out of curiosity RH how many digs would you give your first season bitches, my bitch has just turned two, she had 7 handy digs last season, she likes to mix it, I'm happy with 5 usually, no matter how they work their game. 1 Quote Link to post

Rabbit Hunter 6,613
As many as I think they're capable of mate. Some are late to mature, some are slow to put it all together, some won't push on, some are too hard etc, it's endless. I could dig them 3 times or I could dig them 20 times. The only thing that's certain is that they'll be here next Summer as the second season is when they come into their own, or at least that's what I've seen so far from this blood. 6 Quote Link to post

Apache... 2,588
Interesting, I stick to about 5 no matter how much they can take, the majority of this stuff are flyers and holding them back is the hard part dogs and bitches, they could do with easing up a bit, good luck with yours. These are different to that mate, they usually start between 14 - 18 months, some are flyers and just work and work and some like I said are two step forwards one step back, it's just the way they are. But like I say I've not seen one yet that doesn't get better in their second season, they really seem to kick on and just work away after that. Good luck with yours too! 1 Quote Link to post
Mooching Celt 659
It’s not about how many to give them more about putting them in situations where they keep winning then test them the 2nd season 1 Quote Link to post
