I always ask them if they are veggie and eat local organic veg and, nine times out of ten, they do. I then proceed to ask them why they think it's so expensive and they can never give a reason. The answer being is that I know the people that grow it and their biggest problem is rabbits eating everything, which is why I've now got permission on the land. All I do is say to these twunts that, if it wasn't for the likes of myself and other folk taking out the rabbits, they would be paying through the nose for their beloved vegetables. James that program last night was a joke. cant see what their trying to acheive by given animal lovers opinions on their feelings. the bit when they killed the rabbit still in the cheap purse net made me cringe. hope the food was better than the catch. why did it make you cringe weather in a 4z or spun nylon they got the rabbit and dispatched it cleanly whats the problom Quote Link to post
The one 8,400 Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 I thought it was all bordering on a joke the specialist ferret handlers with what looked like 4z nets and there setting of them ,dinky wee spade .and when the ferret grabbed the rabbit i thought he was spitting in its ear ,But apparently he was making a ferret distress call to make it release it . They have a good cross section of folk there but thankfully the antis aren't getting there point over but on Friday i don't think there any hunting that might be the debate day Quote Link to post

Kill it Cook it Eat it A fairly 'obvious' programme title I would think? Why oh why would you invite a lifelong veggie and a animal rights activist to participate? Surely just asking for trouble for hunting people. I am all for trying to 'convert' people if poss but it was a non starter really! Best format would have been to get meat eaters to have to do the 'tasks' to see if they could? Quite ovvious to me that a veggie and anti were gonna cause problems! Nobby 65 Posted January 8, 2009 Report Share Posted January 8, 2009 Watched all three and on the whole think they will have done some good for us not happy with everything in the programs that went on but i understand that they are making a tv program .It was good to see that some of them that did not hunt found they did enjoy it and could understand why we do it as for the veggys and AR i think people will be able to see for themselves the rubbish they come out with and that can only do us good.
