The government spent about €6 billion on NGO groups and €1.2 billion on ipas last year and the same government are refusing to meet the protest leaders . It shows a total lack of respect for ordinary hard working people . Micheal Martin needs to go .

Halfhound 1,313 Posted Friday at 19:34 Report Share Posted Friday at 19:34 They’ve tried to throw shit at some of the organiser’s but it seems all the attempts to turn the public are being seen straight through. I’d be fairly sure MM and SH are very worried and I’d say the road hauliers association and IFA are even more worried. These guys have done more for those associations members in 3 days then they have in 10 years.

The IFA has no credibility any more . Edited Friday at 20:14 by paul sr
Halfhound 1,313 Posted Friday at 19:57 Report Share Posted Friday at 19:57 Worrying to hear MM has made comment stressing ‘the law must be unheld and take its course’ and more less implying the protest it’s against the will of the people. Amazing how they try and spin things when every man and his dog knows the support it’s stirring up. Will be a very interesting weekend.

Halfhound 1,313 Posted Saturday at 08:37 Report Share Posted Saturday at 08:37 I think there has been fund pages set up if anyone is that way inclined using it to buy grub and tea/coffee for lads. Talks of diesel rebates for agri diesel and tax rebates for hauliers I’m hoping they don’t give in to that when it does nothing for the tradesmen and homeowners heating oil which it also taxed to the heavens. I think if they walk without something for everyone reputations might never be repaired.
