A real man encourages the child to splatter kittens' heads with a hammer. That way the kid's face is covered in spots of blood . You can then lick this off whilst making excited animal noises. I am told it cements a great bond between father and son. It strengthens the lad's mental health and gives him something to tell his classmates and teacher at 'sharing time' the following day. Thought you would have known that. Defrost 10mins in microwave ,it's totally humane

Qbgrey 4,432
It’s the idiots that buy a known problem breed for £2500 walk round showing the little ball of fur off, but have nt got the money for vet care once the dog needs shit done.
dytkos 18,666
I was told at an early age, "if you have livestock, you're going to have dead stock, learn to deal with it." Cheers, D.

dai dogs 2,444
2 weeks ago My Daughter took her 13 year old Westie to vets to check a lump he took a couple of syringes of grit like fluid out and said he’ll send them off for analysis he said it’s probably Cancer this cost £400 Yesterday he phones and said he didn’t take enough liquid out of the lump best option is to have an operation to take samples The Mrs said the next time you see Daisy is when she’s ready to be put to sleep
eastcoast 4,909
A work mate and his girlfriend got a Shih Tzu a couple of year ago. One day he was telling me that it needed all its teeth extracted. I cannot remember if the puppy teeth had not shed or if another set of adult teeth were coming in. The cost was a few £K. I asked if he had informed whoever bred it that the dog had developed this problem. He replied that she warned them that it may happen when they bought the pup as apparently it's normal in Shih Tzu's !!! Visiting a vet more often these days myself. An old terrier with age taking its toll. Can barely walk around the block so nail clipping needs done every now again as it is a 2 handed job for a terrier, he's getting a bit snappy. Lost his appetite though and starting losing a worrying amount of weight. The vet just dismissed it as old age after various tests. But he was slowly starving himself. I've changed his diet several times. A change works for a bit but then he stops eating again and losing weight. At the minute a boiled chicken breast and a Greggs sausage roll for breakfast. Starting losing the appetite for the chicken and I have to cut it up into small pieces and hand feed, still wolfing the sausage rolls down though. He would be dead by now if I had just accepted the vet's conclusion of just old age rather than trying alternative foods.
littlefish 624
Years ago I used to see a programme at tea time called, I think, Animal Rescue. It showed stray cats and dogs flattened on roads etc. They were 'saved' by having legs amputated etc and MAJOR surgeries, in my opinion, not always in the best interest of the animals. Practical decisions need to be made. I remember thinking what is best for the animal? I have never insured any of my dogs.
