I know it seems every thread takes this turn, but the fact is, what some of us have seen in Britain is that nothing happens in isolation….everything is connected. 
There’s a stink about how western governments have been operating, something is way off and as much as we keep trying to be all logical and talk ourselves out of the idea it hangs around like a bad smell……well, that probably tells you it’s true !!

Anyone seeming to put a spanner in those works should be applauded, in this scenario it seems to be Trump, I could be way off but it seems to be…..when I see the people who are actively working behind the scenes (do they even bother to be behind the scenes anymore??) wriggling then that is good enough for me.

I don’t want this current order “fixed”…..I want it destroyed and I understand that won’t happen in a nice, comfortable, logical way that has no effect on me…..these people have too much to lose, they won’t go quietly and they have enough people happy with the status quo backing them up. 

We don’t need to live this way with your speech laws and your taxes and your infringement of rights that just used to be considered normal !!……rights that date back to Magna Carta, rights that we fought civil wars over and rights that 2 representatives from each regiment of the new Model Army sat in a church for a month and thrashed out in bitter discussion so that every man was a master under law in HIS OWN LAND !!……a model that shaped every successful democracy in the world !

They would be killed before they got anywhere near one of those. The yanks don’t leave their base security entirely to the British.

If they get passed the dog she is packing a side peace areas I won’t go or I’m fair game and I won’t use my phone within the base apart from work simple rules to stay alive

My daughter was engaged to a Marine Gunnery Sergeant at the American Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

I remember him telling me “ We are the last line of defence, not the first line . There are warning signs, there are razor wire fences, if you breach them, you haven’t just wandered in by mistake, you are a danger, and we shoot you….that is our job”.

It makes me wonder how those people managed to get into a British military air base, wreck the engines of planes and get back out ?
