Now there's a poisoned chalice. I wonder if he was the only applicant? I bet he's thankful to his dad for leaving him that legacy.

We should open a book on how long he will last.

Maybe he won't accept the job on the basis that there was no consideration given to  DEI or female. applicants

Warheads on foreheads 😅

Prices going up won't affect me I only ever put 30 pound in

Why would it need to be an increase in income tax specifically? Why not a moratorium on overseas aid ?  Why not cut all benefits to illegal immigrants ? Why not a tax increase on the likes

Watched some brilliant background on all this Iran stuff yesterday.

So, first and foremost, Israel……I seen a brilliant story from when Joe Biden visited Israel when he was a young senator and he was going round with the prime minister of Israel who was a woman who’s name I forget, anyway, she says to him “Do you want me to tell what Israel’s most secret and devastating weapon is Mr Biden” ?

So Biden says “Yeah” thinking she is going to reveal Israel’s nuclear capability or something like that and she says this: “Our secret weapon is……we have nowhere else to go !” Let that sink in for a second !
“We have nowhere else to go”……so when you hear that story we all better realise Isreal is going to fight everyone, tooth and claw, everytime someone wants to hurt them…..they are never backing away because they have nowhere to back away too !

I then watched some various things on Irans sponsorship of Hamas and Hezbollah…..so it’s like this, unlike Christian cultures that value life, Islam values death !…….as in they don’t care about for themselves, their citizens or anyone else.

The people of Gaza and Lebanon are just cannon fodder to the Islamic regimes running this holy war, the more that die the better the results for Islam…..Hamas has built a state of the art tunnel system in Gaza that is bigger than the London Underground !!!……all funded by Iran.

This houses all Hamas weapons, fighters, command centres….the entire infrastructure of terror against Isreal.

The entrances are strategically located in domestic houses, Mosques, Hospitals and they have done that because they know country’s like Isreal follow internationally recognised rules of war which prohibits waging war if it can possibly be helped in such places…..hence Hamas snipers in Mosques etc.

Hamas can quite happily crack on making sure just as many people as possible die, both their own and Israeli, because as far as they are concerned either outcome is good !…..let that sink in as well !

All this is funded by Iran !!

Hezbollah operate in much the same manner, again, funded by Iran !

All of that is on Isreals doorstep !…..now you can say what you like about “world Jewery” and all sorts of other stuff and I agree you will find a Jew somewhere in the various things that control society…..but as far as the nation of Isreal is concerned they are going to fight….every time ! So we better put away silly ideas about how they should reason with the people around them for peace, Isreal knows you can’t reason with these people because they don’t f***ing care…..and we better understand that reality too !

Now, from what I can see of it, the people who have controlled modern governments (who we voted for) have been happy to appease all these f***ing animals like Iran for decades as long as it didn’t interrupt their grand plans to f**k us all over in all sorts of ways and we have been happy to let them as long as we perceived it wasn’t costing us too much and we were “rich” ……..peaceful times = weak men !

And weak men is what we have become……my evidence is this…..everyone hates trump and wants him to stop because diesel went to £2 a litre and heating oil doubled !……..like we are prepared, as ordinary citizens, to let Iran sponsor killing us all round the world as long as it don’t cost us 50p more at the pump ?!!……we should be f***ing ashamed of ourselves !

Whatever you think of Trump, his war machine is f***ing them animals in Iran up in a big way…..good !

It also has another benefit, it has shown how much these governments who have been happy to appease the regimes like Iran, like China, have been f***ing us over in our daily lives…..like what we do pay at the pump !…..if diesel goes to £2 a litre then £1.20 of it is pure tax !…..what have they been doing with it and why is it so much ?……that piss take and every piss take just like it has been going on too long…..maybe this is the time people say “f**k this” ?

Maybe it isn’t !, I don’t know……what I do know is, Trump has thrown this world order up in the air and that can only be a good thing……slaughtering people who want to kill is and finally pulling the covers off governments who have been abusing us….for way too long !

Thats worth every penny !

Finally, I thought about this yesterday…….i wonder if, when Britain declared war on Germany, people were saying “Don’t do that, my fuel bill and mortgage rate will go up…..let them kill us instead” ??

They haven’t used this massive tax take and the fake green tax or any of the myriad other taxes they have been nicking in gargantuan amounts for years to strengthen us, to protect us…..they have taken it, squandered it and used it to line their own pockets…..if this conflict has done nothing else it uas shown that in stark reality !…..the question is, what are we going to do about it and how much pain are we prepared to take to damage it ?

I sympathise with a lot of what you say. Equally wouldn’t trust an Israeli as far as I could chuck one.

The counter to all this “killing the regime is good” is that within five minutes the yanks dropped a TLAM into a school and deleted over a hundred children. Now you don’t need to be an Islamist, a Muslim or even religious to see how that can motivate a loved one to dedicate their life to revenge. As impressive as the American war machine is, their leadership are acting like chimpanzees.

If one good thing comes out of this for the UK (strictly imo, many will disagree) it’s the realisation of how much our military power and readiness has been degraded. I think even Joe bloggs feels a bit of embarrassment on behalf of his country over this. I’ve been saying for years now that we are entering a new era global power struggle and investing in defence is not a luxury. We have so many weaknesses that only get exposed at times like this. Fortunately this time it’s just embarrassing, next time it could be catastrophic.

I think that is a very western, Christian way to look at it mate…..my point was, these people are coming anyway, school or no school and the fact is they don’t even care about the school anyway in reality.

They will make a big deal about it because they know WE care and that’s quality PR, but themselves, they couldn’t care less about school kids and especially if they are girls.

Don’t make me smash the glass and call Chartpolski on you now ! lol

Wilf, I worked for the Royal Saudi Airforce as a Specialist Instructor in their Air Defence Centre, from 1978, I saw the Iranian revolution in real time.

I lived in the Middle East for 26 years, working mainly on military and civilian air bases.

I speak passable Arabic, not as good as I should, but conversationable,

I was there for the Iran/Iraq war, and when Egypt and Yemen were firing missiles into Saudi.

I was there for both Gulf Wars.

I have family and friends in the region including my daughter in law and grandson in Saudi and a cousin and his wife stuck in Cyprus. I speak to them and others daily.

I see some of the posts and start to reply, then think “what’s the point, maybe they know more than me”.

Cheers.

But two weeks prior the ayatollah had 32000 of his own people executed for protesting IS has always set up HQ in residential areas to create as many innocent deaths as possible we seem a bit quick to forget these things same as what they did on Israel to get all this started animals that need extermination

Fair. But who’s ‘they’? The regime? Agree. The family? Totally disagree.

I’m not quick to forget anything mate. My point is that the war should be working towards positive change. And bombing schools does not achieve that. And the way the us political leadership are acting I’m not at all surprised it happened so soon. There is a point when a strategy of striking military targets to achieve political change fails if you have too many accidents and create more enemy than you kill.

This war is going as well as Iraq or Afghan at this stage. It’s the bit the yanks do well. But that school strike is one good example of how things go wonky very f***ing quickly.
