Once the two carrier groups were in place it was obvious it would start. My daughter in law and grandson were due to come here for the school holidays but have just cancelled as civilian air space is being closed all across the Middle East. I worry about them, Iran has just hit Riyadh, but my family are in Jeddah, but they live within sight of one of the biggest air bases in the Middle East. I lived out there for 26 years and was there for both Gulf Wars and worked on that base, but to be honest never really felt in danger, but who knows, if it escalates?
