Mick, it's fair to say this lads breeding this way rather than going to a half cross. Just like the saluki, the grey blood IS required eventually. For speed and to dilute blood lines. As you say , they all go back to same dogs in their pedigrees. If you stayed further north. I think your agree mate

I think if max raced me over 200 yds hed be amazed how fast stamina dogs are

I can go on land and do were its hedgy 200 mph for.cover mate

Me red dog in vid max commented on picks bunny's up for.fun

If you watch the  them.last 2 runs I put up.the pup runs 100mph bending the hare just pushes it cover like a grew would. I wanted to see this it has the hears speed now its get the brain and realise when to.use it and when to.run slow mate

My dog just runs it how is needs ties the hare up middle a the land pressure when newr cover lays back off and makes the kill

The land dictates how the dogs run not the dog

A fast un.is a fast un mate

Be too slow with all that whippet and greyhound blood in them won’t be able to bend a hare

Yeh probably be ideal for you fast quick types...they will level out 24 inch 40lb...an inch or two either side... I know I'm busting his balls on here...well that's what you do with mates...but h

Man in pub is over in Ireland at the moment ,  coursing for Saturdays Sunday for racing and racing tells you about speed fast twitch , a pure saluki isn’t blessed with ultimate speed  slow twitch pair of numb heads lol

Watched that year's ago,and must of watched it 2 or 3 times since.... Bob Moreton his owner made me laugh when he told the story of his sons wedding and not a dry eye in the house apart from him, then when the Hawk won the Derby he was the only one crying... Lol and got accused of loving his dog more than his son
