Gunt, 20 year back we found a compactor at the back of a sandwich factory. Sarnies had a day still in date too. 10 bin bags at a time. Wee took the brown bread ones that didn't have any onion in. Gave loads to people who ate them lol. We also had a skip at back of a meat processing plant sirloins brisket etc. We were rolling around the back of our car when we got home fighting for the best cuts.  Wasn't long till I realized that the sausage meat with its  fat content was best mid winter. We just three the sarnies in buckets, warm water mixed into a paste then added meat with a splash of cod liver oil. 3 of us into it. Never seen dogs look so good and run great too. I'm not an advocate of bread. But in fairness, it worked brilliantly

And ill pop see greyhound vet aswell see what they say im out in thr morning with the  red dog and bitch be 3 ran for the bitch 2 for the dog

Got given a huge bag of pre-packed sandwiches and wraps and bakery products from a lad at the allotments yesterday. He goes to Tesco every night and they give him it all for free. 
The dogs got some of the beef and chicken, the rest went into the vat with water and fed the poultry. 
He gets more than he needs and said he will drop some off when he can. A lot of it was still in date, there must be a huge amount of food wastage in this country.
