Ground covered in fresh soft snow there not going to hurt themselves on that even if it solid underneath still got a couple of inch of cushion, I thought it would of been a good opportunity to get it on a kill with an older dog but if it’s only a couple of inches deep doesn’t make much difference to the hare anyway to be fair 1 Quote Link to post

He can wait till end of summer put them on some daft ones on pastured land. I know plenty of places where the hares are boxed in with Stone walls. Not bad land to learn a young dog to use it's mouth.
