ill be truthful mate at 14 month old first season the best will be ok to run but you have to use ya head with most land conditions etc 

This 15 month old a pubes isn't over matched but nows its getting it the correct runs and having it taste fur it can be make or break plus bangers git a one in ten chance of s descent un anyway alot turn out shite

You pick land go hedge ish not the best of hares spots you'd swerve normally 

You don't want a top hare on wet land for a young dog mate needs fur in its mouth the odd one will be good

Mate same principles different sport if I reared a terrier to 14 month old and drop it in a 2 foot spot and it ended up 10 ft I wouldn't be making excuses for it and saying it's young bla bla bla if it drops in and works the stuff it should get the result your worried about a toe nail infection here's a little terrier bitch has more drive in it than white death and she's an oap and out every week sore or not that's drive not you picking choosing runs and laying dogs up half the season... see the dirt lurchers I've went round getting this season men telling you there this that and the other when in reality there f****n tubes worm food they are now

Id agree your schooling the dog but you will hit some good uns that's life aint it winter is the deep end for a 14 month old dog really id 

To kill winter hares dogs need to be right a bad foot won't cut it its alot harder nore wastage then the terriers mate
