Ten lengths isn't alot in seconds mate is it ?

A 10-length win over 500m would be considered a significant victory, indicative of a very dominant performance. So 10 L over 250 meters is a an even bigger dominant performance basically a thrashing

How far do you rekon the dogs have actually ran before they get to a hare that’s up and going and given 100 yard slip I’m guessing probably around 400 yards, suppose it will vary quiet a bit if the hare is just lopeing away of already got its toe down

I rekon ya prob right on all , one that been run before will put its foot down ears back  and maybe one that’s green will lop along ears up won’t get going till it receives bit of pressure then wake up?

Over 5 hundred yard be a few seconds on good and by 800 yds th3 coursing bred would be pulling on that

Now take away the good going its not even in the race mate I've seen it stacks

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
