Did the vet cut the nails on the swollen toes mate? Sometimes it pays to cut them just enough to get into the quick and make them bleed it can help release any swelling.

That's what happens it's like us stubbing our toe knocking the nail back into the nail bed. Like you say fluid builds up behind the nail. Sometimes you've to fillet the toe take the bone out if broken bad.

No mate but I'll.do.it see if it helps just snip a bit off until it starts bleeding to be honest the vet didn't look like she thought it was bad

I just had drover in back me mind be careful the bone isn't  infected or he will.lose a toe I thought best see a vet when  it blew up.again lol

Theres no where for the swelling to go in the toe mate, sometimes not always it helps to just clip the nail back like i said. Just touch the quick so.it starts to bleed slighlty and it can help take the swelling down and release any infection that can be in there.

      **sorry for the double post**
I know I'm probably going to get the piss severely ripped out of me for asking this, but
Has anyone ever successfully trained a deaf lurcher (from two working parents and I own her 4 year old sister who is an awesome little bunny basher.)
Genetically she has potential, but...what do you experts think?
She's not a Double merle by the way, it's extreme piebald/white head. Her vision is perfect

      Evening all,
I'm lucky enough to have first pick from a friends litter. He’s crossed his Saluki dog with his Collie Bull GH bitch. I’ve only seen videos of the litter as he’s based in UK. Few different characters in the litter, some sit reluctant off in the back ground others play among themselves two are incredibly forward one more than the other.

What key things do you look for when picking a litter? I’ve mostly ran mine on rabbits, reds and some others.

      Go stead,
      oshea
