Chid 6,835 Posted Friday at 19:09 Report Share Posted Friday at 19:09 Nothing is pointless when breeding lurchers .. Let's not forget someone put Brittany in a line of lurchers going back 800yrs because they had the best shoulder movement they'd ever seen 2 Quote Link to post

paulus 26 Posted Friday at 20:10 Report Share Posted Friday at 20:10 i think most of us that have been on here a while, would have probably seen more varied crosses of lurcher pups advertised than most other people along with the complete list of reasons why the will make world beaters. 99.9% just fade away and are never mentioned again. Good dogs always were hard to come by but now i suspect its virtually impossible to find an half decent all rounder due to the limitations owners now face, Around here operation Galileo has been taken to new levels, there all over it, only a few days ago they put a picture on FB of a car and dog that had been abandoned whilst they were reacting to a call of hare coursing. Anyway back to pups. you do your research, pays your money, put the effort in and the rest is up to the dog. Peoples standards are varied, so one mans cheese is another mans pickle. One thing i do stand by is, you are never going to buy an half decent made dog, so put the effort in and do it yourself, If you ca not be bothered by a f***ing Tortoise or a cat. Quote Link to post
leegreen 2,256 Posted Friday at 20:21 Report Share Posted Friday at 20:21 I've seen quite a few mismatings that have turned out some crackers. I myself had a whole litter that turned out decent to great dogs. Quote Link to post
