Mate, I just think it’s all very easily explained.

Thats a neck shot, you can tell by the blood….trust me on this.

Also, as a complete rifle layman, I’d say a shot from an elevated position angling down into soft tissue like the neck will travel easily into the chest cavity and the velocity causes expansion as we all know.
