How much have you lads paid recently to have the front dew claws off your adult dogs?

My young pup has ripped the nail al.ost completely out on his 1 leg. Vet quoted me between £240 and £520 worse case scenario. We all know which one it's going to be lol.

 … I will elaborate on mr necks reply….. Mine done the same couple of years ago was also almost right off … blackie  said keep it clean and an eye on it , dog will prob chew it back ,

dog chewed it back , kept an eye on it and been fine ever since ….

I will try that then mate, my last dog had problems and it stopped him chasing rabbits. His jumping went all to shit aswell, he would be lay out in his run and suddenly yelp out and run into his kennel. 

It took me ages to find the issue as they didn't swell. I thought he had a brain problem. The vet practically laughed at me when I said what was going on. He wasn't laughing when he touched one of them and 75lbs of lurcher almost snapped his face off lol.

I’m no expert mate but I left it as recommended and it healed fine … and the dogs no light weight … depends I suppose if you run him casual or are die hard bang at it ….

Pays your money and be done with it . He will be right for end of October when ground is soft . You'll regret it otherwise

Ya i had a full Saluki and the breeder removed them but my dog,s 1 grew back into his leg cost me £120 that was 4 year,s ago . The dog was fine then in about 4 week,s .

3 or 4 days old off with them bit of cut & heal. The curled nail scissors are the best to remove them. The scissors gets right in to remove the full dewl claw. Just to set the record.  I've not done it that's what I've been told.

I personally leave them on the terriers...I wouldn't have  them on  my  runners
