There's two that have left my old man's work. Sweeping floors at burmatex carpet tile factory. f***ing lads wanted to be on the forklifts. When they was told they need to sit a course they f****d off. My old many said many have come and gone. They don't like the shit jobs. Which a don't think anyone does. But you don't walk out on your job. Give me a brush all day instead of towing my back out. Lol. Simple some people. Over the years I employed many of the these type of lads who nobody wants, lads who had been on the dole, involved in petty crime, smoked weed all day, come from fractured homes or bad situations…..I can count the “culls” on one hand. See I’m a nobody, but I told these lads from the get go “you don’t have to be what everyone thinks you are” I showed them that when they earned respect they got it and those who didn’t deserve it got told to f**k off, I watched these lads grow as men…..all it needed was someone to believe in them, give them a bit of guidance, talk to them and treat them like men. Set high bars and expectation but tell them I didn’t believe it was beyond them because they were good British lads…..and almost to a man, almost, they never let themselves or me down. These lads were doing the work of 3 or 4 of their comparable adult counterparts at 17, 18, 19 years old for 12, 16 or in some cases 20plus hours a day……the pride in their faces as they realised how good they could be was brilliant. Many of them went on to be proper upstanding chaps with family’s, steady jobs even in some cases their own littles business….. So no, I don’t buy this narrative that “British people won’t do the work”…..British people will do the work just fine and better than anyone else if someone takes the time to show them who they really are. We are 2 generations in to being told, by people like Sandy, that we are nothing, that we can’t do anything without the 3rd world, that we somehow have to look to these people as an example, that our nations should be more like their nations and let’s sell all the family silver to facilitate this degradation of a nation and its people…..this is what your common or garden British lad got raised up on…..hopelessness and destroyed communities. No wonder the poor fuckers are beaten down…..but that’s not who they are, that’s not their blood. Edited yesterday at 13:33 by WILF 12

Those lads, the lads who a percentage of turn into your next wealthy local lad who does things in his community and is an example for others with similar backgrounds are not wanted ! Its an ocean of red tape and taxes and fines, they are dead before they start…..all the state wants is people in a 9 to 5, earning a set amount and shovelling the lot over to the government and its investment bank, mortgage provider bosses ! What the state don’t realise is that these lads are part of the lifeblood and the fabric……or maybe they do realise and that’s why they ain’t wanted.

No wonder the poor fuckers are beaten down…..but that’s not who they are, that’s not their blood. Same .I had all sorts working with me. One young lad would work like f**k all week, get tanked up at the weekend and end up locked up. He was a big favourite of my Mrs and she was like a substitute mum to him. His own mother was a junkie who died of overdose. He virtually moved in with us and was no trouble at all. He was with us for about five years and then he went to live with his dad. Didn't hear from him for a few years but eventually he appeared desperately needing 2 grand. He insisted on no questions. We gave him it and we didn't hear from him for eight years. I had written the debt off and blamed myself for being too soft . He arrived with a load of presents for us, the 2 grand plus compound interest. He was driving a merc and had a wife and 3 kids. He had built up 3 businesses and employed 20 odd men. So yeah working class brits are the best , we just need a break and a political system which helps us. 7
