Technically mine was a Nova, bought it for 700 bar before I passed my test, let it rot on the drive before having to pay 50 quid to get it removed.

I had a few really bad unreliable cars early on didn't help that I didn't have anyone that knew what they was doing to go n view with me which always helps, I remember having an astra 1.7 Isuzu as mentioned think that was my third car and had alot of trouble with that n gave it away but looking back it probably didn't need much

You learn as you go along or in cases when you get older the cars now is all computer micro chipping in certain areas and no back street mechanics wouldn't know what they doing it's all manufacturer or the main dealer and now the electric car is on the main talk so there's no chance of tinkering around your self

Those xr2 were a nippy little motor

Apart from what I drive now I think the xr2 would be the one I’d want to own now out of all the cars I’ve had, just for the memories of being 18 and driving it like I’d stolen it

I think it was 1995 and I paid £620 for the insurance, I remember it because it’s the most I’ve ever paid for insurance

Escort van, I had one before I passed my test and drove it a few times stupidly and sold it my father in law before I got in trouble  but got another one after I passed. Handy vehicle for the dogs etc.
