My ole man an my uncles had lurchers when I was a kid, but have to be honest it was reading plummets books as a lad that played a big part in my life with dogs, realised he was a walloper a long time ago now tho haha met some cracking lads in the game that I class as top of there game, met a few I though who were but turned out they either all talk or just wasn’t all that they reckoned they was haha 

I admit Plummer books especially rouges and running dogs that I bought when it first came out did have some sort of interest though not as much as Ted Walshes lurchers and longdogs that was the lurcher man's bible when it first came out back in the day especially with the pic's of lurchers used in other countries that was a world away to a teenager like me with his first lurcher.
