Strange how the government n Joe public drool over them yet farmers hate them and they desimate wildlife🤔

Then there is the nutcases like the badger protection group we have one in south Yorkshire that thought it was a good idea to re introduce badgers on a big council owned golf course and never gave the farmers on surrounding land a second thought who kept cattle fekin crackpots the lot of them.

@mC HULL has got hybrid hares fastest in all the land and now you got field mice that build sets, bite terriers .. and chase lurchers … glad I only walk the dog to bargain booze.sounds a wild world ou

The biggest problem we have had 'darn sarf',.. for many years,..is that once you give a farm or estate a good pasting with the dogs, ferrets, nets, traps and snares,.. plus the night shooting,..  the

I haven’t been on here for a while, I presumed with fabeook etc this site kind of fizzled out.

I’m just a law abiding rabbiting man nowadays. Bad time to choose so, with rabbit numbers being on their arse nationwide pretty much.

But the past 2 years I’m starting to notice them again in places they’ve been nonexistent in for 10+ years. I’m my opinion, they are starting to make a return. At least they are around my neck of the woods.

What’s everyone else’s thoughts? Is the humble rabbit making a return?

attached a picture of my 11 month old pup. He’s collie whippet. So far making a prefect rabbit chaser.

100 percent mate as you proably know there's plenty of good yards out there with digging dogs and men that wouldn't touch such sort....it is a shame about the rabbit numbers tho most kids get into it through ferreting lamping and it's not worth effort for them anymore

I think most terrier lads as kids, started out hunting rabbits... until the day you bolt/dig your first fox etc.... Then you choose your calling in life😁lots of Lads get into digging...the mass majority only into it for all of 5 mins...on to something else, because let's be honest,it ain't an easy road at times...one minute your flying high...few bad mornings...and your dog less 😔 for me personally, breaking through to a good terrier ,that has it's quarry right in front of it ...can't be bested👍20170115_085324.jpg.34b628ef9e4d6cae5dc4b0760ebbeb5d.jpg

Went for a mooch this evening around 7 o'clock. Dog ended up on something in some gauze. Ended up coming out with what looks like a tooth mark and on her nose. That was pissing out blood. A didn't see what it was but dog was going mad with what ever it was she had hold of. Even though she's my dog wife wasn't happy her coming home full of blood. Lol
